Description: Rougier Pharma Providine Solution 10% is an antiseptic and medicated cleanser for the skin. This solution helps to kill germs quickly to help prevent infections.
Indications: Pre and post-operative antisepsis. Disinfection of the skin, mucous membranes, wounds, burns, and lacerations.
Dosage:
For operating personnel: Pour 5 mL on the hand and rub for about 5 minutes. Rinse 5 minutes under water.
For the patient: Apply a sufficient amount to cover the affected areas. Massage for 5 minutes then rinse. Allow to dry before applying surgical drapes.

For external use only.
If irritation develops or increases, use of the product should be discontinued. If irritation persists for more than 5 days, consult a physician.

Caution. Irritant. May irritate eyes. Dangerous fumes form when mixed with other products. Incompatibilities with reducing and strong oxidizer agents. Do not get in eyes or clothing. Do not breathe fumes.

First aid treatment: Contains Povidone-iodine 10%. If swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or physician immediately. Do not induce vomiting. If in eyes, rinse well with water. If on clothes. If breathed in, move person into the air.
